Some say the world will end in fire, Some say in ice. From what I've tasted of desire I hold with those who favor fire. But if it had to perish twice, I think I know enough of hate To say that for destruction ice Is also great And would suffice.
ROBERT FROST
~*~*~
Ok, this is it. After a couple of weeks playing around in Apophysis 2.0, and reading and re-reading Robert Frost's 'Fire and Ice', I have finally come up with my final piece.
It's really very simple, and I don't honestly consider it Illustration as I hardly did any drawing, if any at all. But I am pleased with the outcome, and now all I have to worry about it printing it out and mounting it in my gallery space
So, what do you all think? Is there anything I can improve upon, or you think I should change so that the image can fit more with the poem? ALL comments are constructive, and will definitely help my final outcome. The definite deadline is THURSDAY 8TH MAY!
Art (c) FalseHope04 Fire and Ice (c) Robert Frost Created in Apophysis 2.0 and edited in Paintshop Pro

I think this is really awesome! I really like the way that the fireness is more swirly and the iceness is more rigid, just like fire and ice is (funnily enough o_-; ) When you print it out, will the words be clearer? that's the only thing I'd say is something that could be improved, unless you want the viewers to focus more on the colours. Other than that, friggin' awesome

It's good that you picked those things out - I was trying to show that, but I also tried to make it so I didn't just tell you what you were looking at. If that made any sense XP
I made the words as clear as I could when I was adding them, but I think it's another element to the picture - you can see the whole image from far away, but you have to get close to it to actually read what the words say.
Well I certainly like it I love the way it's all broken up into various blocks. And the colours are really cool as well.
So, how did you do it? I mean, how did you make the really coolness of it?

Yey! I apparently had to make it more interesting than just a simple picture, hence the blocks and the writing But I think it's pretty cool this way, but there's still soemthing missing...
Glad you asked - you can download a really cool programme called Apophysis off the net free, and it's such a simple thing to use I'm suprised people aren't making these like crazy! It's meant to be a maths based programme, but luckily for us, it's got one way to manipulate a preset image using triangles It may sound bizarre, but it's really, really easy. You should give it a go! [link] It hardly takes up any space on the computer too - Paintshop was HUGE in comparison.
